Sorry I had to post today. In Matthew 5:42 Jesus says, "Give to those that ask, and to those who seek to borrow turn them not away." He tells us to give, not to a church or a non profit or some other organization, but to each other. I am amazed how quickly we tell someone to go to some church or organization.
After going to 1800 of them I can tell you that this was never Jesus's intention.
We can help each other, in fact if we did, we would not be looking at an overthrow of our country and the watering down of our Constitution.
If you have a: spare car, truck, RV and you can, give it to one in need. If you have $30 or more a month you send to some faceless charity, instead find someone you know who needs a lift and give to them.
Oh I forgot, that is not tax deductible. And there is nothing in it for you, except the knowledge that what we do for the least of these, we do for someone greater then ourselves.
I have to leave where I am, I need a truck and horsetrailer and a camper shell so we will have a sleeping area, and yet you would think I was asking for the taj mahal.
If a natural disaster took out all power and large areas were cut off, do you think we would share what we have? Personally I am not so sure. Help each other now and see the blessing God bestows upon you. Giving keeps the energy flowing and in the end all are blessed.
